skilldesc.csv will reside in ur share/skill folder, load it on ur server first to see if you get any errors in the debug monitor

i have a skilldesc file has over 300 lines, loads just fine.

You won't get any errors even if u load skilldesc.csv with 500 lines, but ur client will crash as soon as you patch it.

You can unlimit it through the exe...

If you've edit it through the .exe then say so, but don't get the peoples hopes up and make them keep try it.

I was talking about skillname.csv, I have more than 1000 lines in skilldesc.csv,. You can not have more thar 255 lines in skillname.csv

i did not edit either exe to load the skilldesc file over 255, it loads just fine on silks files with 308 lines, no issues.

notice in my first post i didnt mention editing the exe to load a larger file? u have been here long enuff to know that i would had mentioned that, i dont show off on these forums, if i can do it, i say so, if i had to do something to get it, i say so, if i edited something, i say so, but i didnt.

i still have lines left in my skillname file, actually i have nvr even opened that file, it seems its not needed for the skills description, as i dont have A7 skill names, nor do i have A9 skill names in that file, yet all my skills have names, and i wish i could tell you why, i have no idea, i just know i dont mess with it and all my skills have names still.

alternativley, not sure if u guys know this, but u can actually put the skill name, in the skilldesc file, it will look funny, but it wont look too bad, this line for example:

144,All Weapon\A basic Knight skill that attacks quickly.,

you could do this:

144,Uber Skill\All Weapon\A basic Knight skill that attacks quickly.,

then u have ur skill name in the description, like i said, looks a little funny, but serves the purpose, and u can ditch the skillname file

my issue with files sizes, is simply the list files not wanting to load over 65k, its bad for action files :(
