On Vista you need to right-click the program and select Run As Administrator.

haha why are you asking me what seems to be the problem
answer me.. do you have vista?

because if you don't then your assuming right clicking and starting
under run as admin. is a magic button filled with magical fairy's and
beautiful unicorns you are wrong lol it does nothing more then just
ask you if you want to access the program, as opposed to the
program starting on its own. it needs permission from the admin.

thanks for the help though.:p

No, I dont have Vista. I dont assume its a "magic button", as I said Vista needs admin rights for some programs.

Try this:

1. Right Mouse Click on "<yourprogram>.exe" and select "Properties"

2. Click on the "Compatibility" tab.

3. Under "Compatibility Mode", Click on the checkbox "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and Select Windows XP (Service Pack 2) in the input box.

4. Then under "Privilege Level", select the checkbox "Run this program as an administrator"

Personally i think vista is more organized, faster, tighter security.
And Vista is still new there are some bugs but wait.. I'm telling you
very soon vista's compatibilty problems will be obsolete.
XP was exactly the same way when people moved from 98'
Vista will push XP out of the picture.

Vista is a failure. Only people who dont know how to format his computer is using it. I bet there will be new MS OS in two years.

And talking about when people moved from 98, vista could be near than Windows Millenium but not XP :p
