Setup own SRO Server

Step 1 - Install Visual Basic 6
(u have to purchase it.. -> stop ! dont pm me anymore for this ! i will not answer any question about where to find SB 6, just google or search on warez site <- )

Step 2 - Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and download all the files to your computer username is user and theres no password. or just download this one (Rev 45) but it might be updated because cls is constantly re coding it all.

Note:There is allready a newer version out now: Rev 11 - downloadable under the adress [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] username: "user" and no passowrt

Step 3 - Locate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and add the following lines to your hosts file.
- 127.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com
- 127.0.0.1 gwgt2.joymax.com

Step 4 - Download the cracked sro_client below and replace your current sro_client with it:

Step 5 - Open prjVBEmu.vpb with VB6 and go to File>Make prjVBEmu.exe then you will have an exe file to execute the server.

Step 6 - Execute prjVBEmu.exe then Execute sro_client directly from your silkroad folder and you then should be ingame.

Step 7 - Login with user: sremu password: test and have fun =)

at the moment u cant fight mobs!

If you want to play with your Frinds, just get Hamachi, make a network and let your friend join, than ur friend have to edit the host file to this (for 0.0.0.0. put in the hamachi adress from the server hoster). Now the server hoster have to make an account you can connect all.

All few days i will upload the newest version, allready compiled to the.exe file, so u dont have to get VB6.

i dont know clearly what its new here, but i know that it does not work with silkroad version 1.031 ^^ tested by myself ^^ now i have to renstall it .. or anyone have an idea to get it back to standart version 001? because i deleted the 500 mb setup of SRO --

Another Question is someone know if its possibly to change the ip adress where silkroad have to connect to? i mean from another computer who want to play on my server, what is the file he have to edit for putting in the ip adress.. (like world of warcraft: realmlist.wtf)

this emulator works with the newest silkroad version (v1.141)

yes.. do you know how to get the newest update? or should i download the official client from silkroadonline.net (legend II) and let it auto update?

i am getting the original serverlist when is start with the cracked client the rest works only i can't login any solutions yet ??

u have to remove the - in front of - 127.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com
- 127.0.0.1 gwgt2.joymax.com

no take 121.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com and 121.0.0.1 gwgt2.joymax.com

than it works, I had the same problem when I used the 127.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com with this 127. So take 121 and it will pobably work ;)

i will try that one now cuase the solution from rabobank did not work ;)
