Old SREmu ReWrite - Working

Step 1 - Install Visual Basic 6

Step 2 - Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and download all the files to your computer username is user and theres no password. or just download this one (Rev 45) but it might be updated because cls is constantly re coding it all.

Step 3 - Locate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and add the following lines to your hosts file.
- 127.0.0.1 gwgt1.joymax.com
- 127.0.0.1 gwgt2.joymax.com

Step 4 - Download the cracked sro_client below and replace your current sro_client with it:

Step 5 - Open prjVBEmu.vpb with VB6 and go to File>Make prjVBEmu.exe then you will have an exe file to execute the server.

Step 6 - Execute prjVBEmu.exe then Execute sro_client directly from your silkroad folder and you then should be ingame.

Step 7 - Login with user: clearscreen password: lol and have fun =)

heya! well tbh i dont know what the sro emulator does can ya give me some info about it? (=

i think its for private Server, but doesnt really work in this Version.

hmmm...what Version does it require...Client just crashes when I launch it.

EDIT: Ok nevermind patched SRO and it works now but I cant login

Visual basic 6 is not free, either you have to go buy it, or download it illegal

but it's 4gb's

so,why didn't you post prjVBEmu.exe that would help the users to pass step 1 and 6 without downloading vb6
