[idea] Private Server List

hi all
i was wondering what you all think of this idea

i created a site that does only 1 thing
checking server / autopatch status of 4 kind of games

zero
eudemons
conquer
MineCraft

you can easy add your server to the list and it will automatic work (safe a lot of time)

every time some1 visit the site does the status get updated and does it shows what servers are online or offline (easy to see icons)

on that way you got always a accurate list of what is offline or online

at this moment is the site only in beta stage , you can only add websites to it for checking but you can not delete websites yet (will come later or so with email conformation )

the reason why i dit is is because i got a spare domain name that i do not use (its just to keep the name alive ) and does it seems intresting for me to make something unic of it

and as this kind does not exist yet and to get rid of the big list in this forum and manual checking does it seems nice for me to release this idea

You know what this is awesome I like the idea so much.. i hope you take this serious till it be something good ^^,

I like it but could you add the option to check for auto patch and gameserver on 1 site?

that option is already activated

autopatch and gameserver are checked as you sort per game and not per mode

you can add your ip 1X per port (to prevent spam and abuse)
at this moment is autopatch and gameserver at the same page ( for eo , just check the eo page ) and on the mainpage you see the last 10 added servers (any kind of server that is added)

later on i will split autopatch and gameserver to 2 differend pages per game ( so 3 more extra pages)

but i am not sure if i understand your question
can you explain it a bit differend or provide a example so i can understand what you exactly mean

Like when you add a server to your list it gives an option of picking either GameServer or Autopatch, why not both?

No.. I mean.. have the option to have both.. Like.. | Server name | AutoPatch status | GameServer Status |

it is like he says
not all servers has autopatch (like wow , mapple , runescape , minecraft and other games)

and the main reason is that all value's are stored in tables , it is just not possible to extract 2 ports from a single database row. or i need to change the form and the way it works completely to extract data from differend rows depending what you are submitting

soon i make a differend page for only the autopatch servers ( so you got a overvieuw of what servers have a autopatch)
but before i going add that will i like to add a delete function to the script , so a user can submit his email adress and ip to delete the server from the list ( the email you signed up with )

i understand your idea , but the other problem that i will have is that i need to show a row all the time for the autopatch , and that will looks ugly
but maybe i can get it done for just the servers with autopatch (i will look into it to see if i can double data submision or a differend row for autopatch)
but i can not promise that i can get that working

at this moment i added a few anti bot items (no , i hate recapcha and there are other ways to prevent bot submision)

its a good idea i would register but eh mine don't use the ports you have in the list lol

i would like to add the option to add custom ports
but that does not seems to be a good idea at this moment (got a lot to do before i add that )

if you like , send me the port numbers of autopatch and gameserver and i update those ports for you
but then you woulnd find it back in autopatch list and gameserver list (only in general list) as those are getting the right data from the port value's

what you mean with "summarize" ?
if you know how to do it and you preffer to give me a little help with it then it would be nice to

only thing i need is a example code and i can do a lot :D (editing skills , mixing skills , copy/paste skills or whatever skills you like to call it ^^ )

I meant with your posts, its really no big deal. It would just be easier if everything you posted was just "to the point". Like, instead of me saying: "This one time I went to the beach and it was nice and warm and things were really lovely, it was having the time of my life and then my dog ran off the leash and jumped in the water not realizing it couldnt swim and so it drowned, it was really sad" I could just say "My dog drowned at the beach." Its just more simple, but it doesnt really matter. Your way is fine too, im just too lazy to read anything longer than 2 lines lol.
