Alrighty, something similar to this has been posted already (Except that it's for casting buffs on yourself. This is the reverse.)
Here's the exploit (still works fine):
1. Obtain "Unbestowed Friendship Bracelet" on any of your alts. (High chance of drop.)
2. Position this character and your "Heartbroken" character in the same position (in Orgrimmar for example.)
3. Create the following macro:
/sit
/stand
/sit
/stand
etc.. until it fills up all 255 characters
4. Spam the macro button (ie, keep clicking it) until you are disconnected.
5. Login on your alt and you're "Heartbroken" character will still be standing there. Use the "Unbestowed Friendship Bracelet" on your alt.
6. Voila!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The "Heartbroken" buff will remain for 60 minutes and you MUST be logged in for it to expire. The exploit above will save you some time waiting for it to expire or trying to find someone to remove it for you.
- The "Adored" buff will countdown whether you're logged in or not.
- The packages (Pledge of Adoration or Gift of Adoration) you can obtain once every hour has a 1-3% chance of dropping "Lovely Black Dress". This item is not soulbound (sweet!) and can typically sell on the Auction House for 200G to 1000G. (I'm quite serious.)
- I recommend using the above steps instead of creating Level 1 Alts over and over to obtain the "Lovely Black Dress". You can keep getting the Pledges/Gifts every hour whether you're logged in or not.
