Soc question

I know the success rate of getting a soc in tc has dropped but has anyone recently been successful and how many met average would you say it took?

doesnt matter how many mets... its random it aint a certain number of mets to get a socarket is betta apparently from what i heard

I socketed an elite tao robe in about 6 or 7 mets 2 weeks ago. I always got my sockets (only 3) within the 1st metscroll, so I never use more than a scroll per day (wouldn't call that met spamming ;) ). Plus, I don't use bought items from the shopkeeper anymore, but try low level quality or +1 items.
