This is what Dragon wrote on the Facebookpage of Ares. I guess it will affect Derivative too soooo lets wait and hope ;).
Ah, thank you so much. I was starting to worry that the server might be dead. Anyway, lets hope FallenGears will be up aswell. I wonder what happened for the game to be down for so long...I hope everything/everyone is ok.

Fallengears wont be up again i think and if this will happen im sure thex will publishing under a new name.

So liek, idgaf if FallenGears wont be up, theres a crapload of scrubs with idiotically broken stuff in that server. however i just formatted my pc and i lost the Ares installation file... so liek where dafuq am I supposed to download the ares/cloudnine client?? the website is still down and the torrents never worked.

fallengears will be up cuz right now they are testing IF3 and new items, maps, etc so thats why they have to put it on extended maintenance cuz it takes a shit load of time to update and test out each if they have worked properly or still are bugged
