sound problem

Hi all, please help me.
After i formated my hard drive, my sounds in conquer are always disappearing. Like when u jump or monsters dies or met drops. I don't hear it. I did another format and this sh$t again, i used old client and patched it and still no effect. Tell me what to do :(
When i stard playing i have sound only for few mins then it's gone. :(
P.S. I updated drivers, I used other Conquer sounds from this forum, Tryed again the old and new client, Other servers, Other chars and nothing. Have all the sounds for 1-3 minutes and then only some lefts.. Please help me, i'm begging you. :( :confused:

For me, i never had sound problems... idk, it can be something of the ACard, but idk...

i have 5.1 sound system. i noticed some sounds that are working bad for me, comming only from 1 speaker. But it's random not only like this. Is there any sound configuration in PC or in some coqnuer file? I have my SoundMax setted properly. So where's the problem ? =\

dude, I cannot offer u a solution but please hear me out. I hv the same problem. mine comes and goes (sound) and i notice it happening when i patched it to multiclient (coto). Mabe some1 with better hardware/software knowledge can comment?

So you have'nt tried re-installing your conquer file W/O using any edits and the installer is the latest one?

lets see did you even install your sound drivers if yes are they up to date?

damn problem won't go away..

Today i found a DB, i was LUCKY to spot it, cuz sound didn't work for it =\\
I hope some1 can help me, cuz i don't wanna lose DBS only cuz i don't have sounds

i hear ya galyutsinogan... i also have the same problem...like u every thing updated drivers,directX, etc.
don't bother asking CO online surpport i've tryed already.
getting treated like a lil kid they ask me the same dumb questions..
ie : did u check ya options and download CO and reinstall again.
being there done that still no sound.

:D i also have the same problem, i have re-downloaded conquer many times to no avail. Maybe it was something in the previous patch that disabled something. I have a up-todate surround sound system so i really would like some1 to shed more light on this matter :D

I doubt this is personal system related if someone else has the problem. Try reporting this to TQ in the forums or live support. And if its not the server, then it could be corrupted music files.

They are not corrupted, work perfectly if you play them from folder.. this is some kind of shit..
