Howto: Edit .csv w/ OpenOffice.org Calc (Help)

The image below is the first screen that I get when using open office.
What I want to know is what to change so when you're editing the extracted files from the data.pak how to NOT damage the .csv, seems that when I save (no matter if I keep the same size/bytes) it corrupt the file leaving it useless which forces the data.pak extract a new one while loading.

So could anyone that know how to use this program properly to edit those files teach me howto.

I use Darkinc - 2moons Data.pak Unpacker.exe to unpack my data.pak and open the files with microsoft excel find the required information (ex:monster id and attribute) open data.pak with winhex and search the (info ex the monster id and attribute modify and save it)

Thanks for your time, I do exactly the same as you but I use winhex after.

I want to learn with OpenOffice cuz it's so easy to edit from there.

CSVed is freeware and works as well.

novst, can you post here the darknic unpacker? i can't see anywhere here the unpacker. Thanks in advance...

As said, CSVed works, also works better. So I use only csved
