automaint ??

hey all
before i going release how you can do a automaint do i like to know if there is intrests in it

i got a easy solution to do automaint and i can provide you a few files that will do automaint

the above link contains 4 cronjob files that are needed to do a maint
that is so far the only thing i release and you should be able to figure out on your own how to setup the other part

if there is enouf intrests in it , let me know and i release how to do it ( and the missing file that shutdown the server )

the reason why i do not provide the full maint stuff is because i want you to figure it out (and i see no reason why i would provide that script at this moment)
i only provide you a few items that shows where the locations are and how you can do it

please note , the 4 files will run every 2 days ( monday , wensday and friday) at 11 pm (server time)

only thing you need to configure is
writing a script that shut down your server
setting up those cronjobs to start the server up again
and you got a auto maint tool

so to make it short
those 4 files are example files that can help you a lot if you know where to place them ( .job should say enouf ^^ )

if there is enouf intrest in a auto maint tool then i will provide a tutorial how to do auto maint with those files and what you need to change
but at this moment is this all what you get from me to figure out how you can do easyly a automaint :D
if you can not figure it out , feel free to make a reply on here to ask for a full tutorial and i wil release 1 if there are enouf requests

Very nice of you to release this well kind of but now theres another section where you can post guides, i know you havent been here in ahwhile and that what they did :P the section is at the very top if u hit the back button 2 times after reading this unless you jsut bookmarked this cause you love me so much :P

i got email notificatinos and i still feel that this is the right place

1) it is not yet a guide ( will come later after enouf reqeuests)
2) it is basicly a helpfull release with a lot of think work to get it working

3) it still fits this topic as you need to do a lot on your own and this post can help a bit with it

but if i going release the guide ( after enouf reqeusts) then i will post it in the right section :D
