Hey all, I was curious how difficult it is to bot on Uthgard? If I play both toons and dont use HKN or anything like that, is it easy to get away with it? I was thinking running a NS and a Bard or BM and a bard.

As long as youre not on the same IP it should be alright...

If you plan on playing for a longer time on Uthgard, I can only recommend to not bot. Their Gamemasters check IPs and the community is sensitized when it comes to botting. This means that even if you are not detected by a Gamemaster, a player will most likely report you resulting in a ban.

From my experience on Uthgard, Asariasha is correct, anyway its definitely a lot easier to level in groups etc rather than bot, Ive botted to 50 and grouped to 50 myself and Group PvE > all other types of leveling as the Uthgard Devs have their special formula's to stop people power leveling in place etc
Also the IP issue, the Gamemasters no longer use IP addresses instead they check your ISP and Location. So i am told ^^
