Editing Dds help!

Hi this is my first topic.. or question whatever.. anyway.. ive been following dds files and sort of editing them for a bit.. they all sucked and that.. i just wanted to ask:

If you had an existing dds file.. that came from here for example the "Super Sayan - GreenPencil one" and downloaded it.. and you didnt have the right armour for it.. (120 trojan armour) and i only had 110 black trojan armour.. if i found the number of the .dds file for my tro could i say.. rename the "Super Sayan" .dds file to the number that my trojans armour is and replace my armour for the dds file to work?

or you could edit your armour ini to set lvl 110 armour looking like lvl 120
