For ANY source you will need to learn coding. It's simply not an option to download and run outside of binary files (which are... lacking).

The most complete and correct conquer release is project manifesto which in its original released version is patch 5135 iirc. It's been upgraded (base features only) to 5355+ but it's simply the ultimate public example of how a source SHOULD be coded.

Keep in mind that because of this it's a far more advanced coding style than most epvpers are used to. It uses all sorts of queues, pointers, unsafe structures, etcetc vs the simple wrappers that things like lotf tend to use for all its stuff.

Not trying to scare anyone away but the fact remains that UNDERSTANDING (not just simply editing or using) project manifesto requires a much better grasp of coding than say... lotf...

It uses some more advanced concepts that he may not be comfortable with. That being said I feel it's a GREAT way to learn and completely agree that reading/watching his tutorials would be a great start (still only a start, then comes practice and extra searching/books).

I simply warn him cause if not he'll most likely open it up go "I don't understand shit" and quit... which I'd much rather he be prepared and put the time into it vs simply becoming another lotf copy/paster.

Then I guess the answer here is you shouldnt go for a complete source but rather go for Impulses source.
