Hexing into English

Here's a small guide on how to hex the chinese private server into english.

First download this hex editor from that site
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Make a backup copy of your Media.pk2
Open the hex editor and press ctrl+f
so you get the search window

Make sure that the "Data Type" dropdown is set to "ANSI String". Now in the "Find What" field type in "Chinese"
Click "Find".

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Now press your "Insert" button on your keyboard and type in "English"
instead of the "Chinese" and look if theres any change in the size of the
media.pk2
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Now press save
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Make sure the size is the same after you hex it.

Dont forget to type English with capital E
then save when your done and checked the bytes
havent changed.

It used to work at the official csro client but they patched it so you cant use this method, it will replace the chinese words with english but you wont be able to move your character.

I havent tryed it on this private server so I'll try myself and post the results.
