uhhh host it on your friends computer so u can get remote access to it? i dunno

your not asking the question clearly enough, supply us with more information
i think he means he wants to run the server on his friends pc with the database and be able to connect to it from his pc to edit the database... its easy but it takes abit of messing around in hba_conf located in the postgre folder google helped me when i did it... since then i have reformatted and i've lost the conf file (i dont use postgre anymore).. so i cannot help you with that try google :)
p.s: its alot better in mysql and alot easier maybe you want to try and convert... when im not busy i'll help you (feeling kind)...
