can't connect to server

Hello,

I downloaded the 1 click server and the client i did what it say ip/removing bridge network

i changed the ip in the client login/channel.csv in the server login/channel.csv in the config.ini's since that showed localhost ip

but somehow i still can't connect to the server it takes a while that it says it cant connect to the server in the begin with just the base changes in the topic it said it directly.

so what do i wrong? if some1 can help me thnxs

What ip are you using?

check the Nat/Bridge, and make sure your either portforwarded or using hamachi to connect and main pc cuz virtual pc is considered as another network :P

@BioNicX no not on portforwarding what do i need to place at host port? 7880 or 50005 orsomething else?

VMware8 network adapter IP: 192.168.217.1
Server IP: 65.60.42.195
Default gateway Server: 65.60.42.193

@Ansem I use the ip what i get giving of I go the CMD in the server and typ ipconfig 65.42.1.102 orsomething not certain about the right one first 3 should be correct

If you use hamachi and make a network you should have no problem. I would help you but I'm at school ATM. If you want later I can help you out.

Just get hamachi, make your network use your ip from hamachi and your good.

If your not wanting it online then I am having the same problem and someone told me that I should use a static ip. In cmd type ip config or ipconfig and look for ipv4 or something and use that.

hamachi uses an internet connection to need to play online with others but does it need that connection also to play offline?

and static ip i know my vmware8 adapter is static and server ip is static also

Hmm, I suggest you make a new post saying that problem now. The "Login time exceeded" crap. I remember seeing it because but that was because of lag and I just kept clicking Login really fast and it went away.

can you maby tell me the name of the database? for the config.ini in cast and session considering they arent filled in now

make sure the internet is turned on he vm then pull up the internet box, click advance obtain ip automatically

now your vm will let you connect with out using hamachi.
