Noob with a server

Yes i'm a noob but we all have to start somewhere.

i got my server running localy.

i have som friends that want to join. firt mabe just on a local network if that is the easy or make it public. but i don't know how. and i understand that ppl don't want to have 2000 servers they have made them selv that other run. But this is for friends only for a long time.

i don't know much about sql atm i have only worked with windows/unix servers not the sql. is there a easy help that a noob can understand so i can learn how stuff work im my game?

i have tried alot on here. but i can't find Cash.sdata in my game just in the folder i downloaded here. LILPROHACKERS tool.

how does that work when i can't find it?

all i did was to follow the [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] and i hade a server.

now i need to edit like making a new accont. when i follow what i could find. i get error in 2:

Wrong section, the developer section is for releases and guides only, if you have questions post them in the main Shaiya Private Server Section. To answer your question
And to let them play on the account you send them the files of your server, e.g. Updater.exe , game.exe , data.sah etc.
To use lilprohackers tool, make sure you have .net 3.5 installed on your computer.
And to use it, well click on the .exe, go to File>Open>Data.sah(to your server) the when it opens find Cash.sdata and right click that and click export, and export it to your desktop, then take the shStudio tool ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]) and go File>Open>Cash.Sdata then you edit it in any way you like.
After thats done go back to lilpro's tool and right click on Cash.sdata, then click Import, and select your edited Cash.Sdata (from desktop). Once its done importing, close out saying yes to all thats needed, and then play :)

i got everything up working atm but using Hamachi atm to add friends to test.

i have stopped xp in 1-30 pvp and grb. now i need to get canta drop ledg. any idea how to make that easy? is there a way to make the map work or do i have to pic a mob or 2 and make that drop it? there is xp in dungeon like pharos offcourse.

and is there a easy way to make fortunebags drop? alot of serveres have it so if any of you have a script for it that would be great.

i got ep5 files but i still have skill buggs on them. if anyone have i would love to have the complete ep5 with lvl 70 and full sett off skills files. mabe just the exe?

one more thing is i can edit the Cash.SData np. i have the tool. but where do i go after i'm done? i have tyried running the bat file from saf-sha editors under Starting Programs----tools and a couple useful scripts.

but i get phyton eroor it's not a known com. but i have it installed..

lol this was much. and still how can i get old char use the new stuff? like i have a gm i made long before i got the ep5 files he can't use the new skills or enything? is there a easy way to make all use the same skills even if they are made before the update?

did that. sorry didn't see this untill long after you posted sorry.

but now i get when i try to log in a char game data load error!!!!!!! is there a item wrong then? i only did the Cash.sdata he he

i have used the shCashShop that did not work i guess. but when i try to use the shStudio on the file i have extracted i get this error trying to open it:

error,the interface/icon/icon_somo2.dds file was missing or not found. this is the normal data from the game i play and working..

i even tied to extract a new one. same error

sorry np i didn't have the \Interface\icon\ico n_somo2.dds

but when i did it worked perfect

extract the whole data file. select the folder with castors tool and then it will work
you can extract the data with lph's tool
if that doesnt work for you castor also made a extract tool in the dev section
like on the 4th page or something

thats caused by something not being encrypted right
make sure you encrypt all the files that need to be encrypted in the client

np thanks. i was able to get it right. but to get this out do i need a patch? or can i just give my friends the new data.sah file? it works here just need to get it out to my friends he he

you cant mix and match data.sah with data.saf

is it a easy step to do that? learning everything as i go here it's alot LOL

alot have and updater thingy like download us installer then just ad a rar file in your us shaiya dir. is it hard to make one like that? not updater but just a file they can rar in there old shaiya dir?

been working alot to get mye final ep5 server online. i have used the shaiyaomega files and all that. great stuff ty so much. i have downloaded alot that say they have ep5 and all that. now i'm stuck with a lvl cap on 60. + what look's like alot of skills. before i can upgrade my skills to lvl 3 i get lvl 4 another place in the skill list. and the lvl is wrong." they turn white and i can upgrade but i'm just getting unable to learn skill."

is there help out there to get my P server running full EP5?

i want to play around with all the tools out there but first off all i want my server a litle more buggfree LOL.

one more thing. when i try to use windspin on a fighter i never stop spinning LOL.
