hacking/modding

i was just curious how people mod textures and stuff like in this post [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] also how do people create hacks? what knowledge do you need? and how would you procure the information? thanks

For modding textures u need TexTool (look for it in the forums here) and a tool like photoshop ;D
