High ping !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hello all,
my ping sometimes goes up then be downa again ex: my ping now is 300 then it becomes 2k or above then be 300 again and some times it reach 11k and i dc andi see all palyers moving normaly as there is no lag:confused:

yea same to me :( fucking network,my internet speed is 2.5 mega

mine 3mb/s and no lag at all

1 mb/s with 7 pc on my network my ping is always 20000 i did alot of tweaks And only conquer has problems

raise you internet speed

i have 2 mega and always laging :)
Ping is now 300 then it is 10k then it is still 10k and players move normally

i was killed 3 times cuz of that :S

lol it doesnt matter how much info u can transfer i have a 600kB down 256kB up and i get 80-200 ping when i play spikes to 400 when thare are many people doing lucky time

that was my friend's problem

i'll tell him to raise his internet speed

As was just said, speed doesn't do anything. You could be on dialup and still get decent ping as long as there aren't a lot of people around you. If you're in another country then you're doomed to get bad ping no matter what.

well said. i live on the west coast in canada and my cable internet in basicly intertwined with the massive network in the states. when i play CS any westcoast server i play on is under 50 ping even with my low overall "speed". Its all about location and company compitance (i cant spell worth a bent penny).
