WPE - Learn all Weapon skills with any class

Hello.

With this little trick you can get a Mage to wear a Two-Handed Sword, or a Rouge with a Staff.

Open WPE and PermEdit and target WoW.exe.

In-game, go to a weapon trainer.
Let's say for example you are a Undead Mage, and you go to Weapon Master Archibald (Undercity), [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
And you wana learn Two-handed Sword.
Then go back to WPE, open a new Filter. In slot 15 - 16 you put the ID.
So for example:

search: 74 3E (Daggers)
modify: 6F 3E (Two-Handed Sword)

Enable filter.
Then just learn *Daggers* from the trainer, and you will learn Two-Handed Sword.

I take another example.
If your a paladin and want to learn Bows.
Then go to a weapon trainer.
So, let's say you go to this weapon trainer: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] , in Silvermoon City.
And you switch Polearms to Bows in WPE; in slot 15-16:
search: 77 3E
modify: 7A 3E

And enable filter and go and learn *Polearms*, and you will learn Bows

*Note*, It will not show "you have learn a new skill: Two-handed Sword" or something... But you have learnd it.


Here are some of the weapon skills, you put it in slot 15 and 16:

One-handed Sword: *37 07*
One-handed Mace: *72 3E*
One-Handed Axe: *70 3E*
Daggers: *74 3E*
Polearms: *77 3E*
Staves: *75 3E*
Two-Handed Sword: *6F 3E*
Two-Handed Mace: *73 3E*
Two-Handed Axe: *71 3E*
Fist Weapon: *78 3E*
Bows: *7A 3E* (ps, if you learn Bow or Gun or Thrown, just drag the arrow's or bullet's or whatever, to your trinket slot or whatever, and it should work fine)
Crossbows: *7B 3E*
Gun: *7C 3E*
Thrown: *7D 3E*

I tested it in latest MaNGOS.
[Edit: Tested on Ascent 2.5 Trunk r2422 2.3 server works like a charm]
The only problem is that my weapon skill never increase, so that's kinda annoying
(My english is not the best, but I hope you understand)

I have tested this on Beyond WoW and WoWFusion, and this method still works with skills. They are using ascent servers which i believe to be fairly up to date.
The weapon skill doesn't show an increase because you technically haven't learnt the skill as it doesn't show up in Skills Panel. However it seems like it is increasing with use because the weapon damage of my priest's 2H sword kept rising with each swing.

Have tried but cannot get proficiencies to learn, ie Plate Mail, Mail, Leather, Cloth.

wie hast du den lvl 50er gemacht???

weil es sieht auf dem bild so aus, als würde er erst erschaffen worden sein.

I learned 2Hand swords as a rogue :) works fine...
Anyone knows if modify crossbows to teach me plate?
Can someone tell me "code" for plate?

its impossible to learn plate armor because there are no armor master on the server... it would be possible if you go to your trainer if you are the required class who can learn heavy armor and than dont learn heavy armor, learn plate but i dont know this because its fixed to learn spells from other trainers with swithcing the learn codes id.. dont know if its fixed for the trainers completly or if its only fixed to switch learn codes for trainer with spells, not for armor...

try it out.

i tried getting plate code from allakhazam (the spell code), converted it to hex and switched it around, came out the same as logging the code via WPE, so tried switching it with learn Inner Fire (rank 1) but it still wouldn't learn it when i clicked it...
just hangs and does nothing.. (like quest changing, spell changing, etc all do on antrix servers)

can i get a link to download this filter plz ???

playing on 1.12.2 and its not working. like most stuff except gcd
