Nice but where are the informations from?
I can write AMD have a new CPU called UBER with 344234123Ghz, but nobody would believe me without proving the informations.
So i would suggest its a fake, because of the great jump in technology..

there will never be a 300 ghz processor because the signals would be faster then lightspeed , and thats not possible

But this is a Crystal Cpu that means it is Light Controlled. Maybe true or maybe fake. ;)

Sry for writing german from now on.. but the "news" are in german ;)

yeah but look....

the signals must do the way from the cpu to the cache , thats just a few millimeters, but with 300 ghz they have to do this way 300.000.000.000.000 times. if the way would be 1 mm , this is 300.000.000 !!!! kilometers in a second

lightspeed is 0,29 million kilometers in a second.....

there are 64 data paths in modern processors. not 1. and a beam of light for each one.

yeah.. 0.29million * 64 = 18,56million!!
aggain 300million, thats not really enough -.-

and this is a fake in my opinion! :o

there's more to it than simple math like that. stuff like that is NEVER that simple.
01/11/2008 12:16 invisible#11
Why cant it be that simple? The CPUs of today are that simple, why not the CPUs of tommorow?
Its just logical thinking, you cant be faster than lightspeed.

Seit wann ist Frequenz eine Geschwindigkeit (Weg/Zeit)?
Ein paar sehr obskure Rechnungen hier, muss man schon sagen. D:

modern cpu's aren't that simple though. there is a lot to them. if it was as simple as you make it sound, we should already be at light speed processors.
