New type of Shaiya

We are looking at bringing up a totally new format of game in which it is a unique platform build from scratch from us. It will be PvP based as Shaiya but all new maps and quest. We are now looking at 3-4 different factions in which each set of GMs will run with there own specific maps and quest. So there will be 3 to 4 styles of play servers basically a gothic style, nature style, and light style. Each will be run with there own GMs that do events for there factions. We will then have a Full PvP style mapping system in which all factions can battle. We may even make one faction where they are able to battle with the two others. At any rate this concept is to merge the ideas of some of the PS owners to move all to a system where they can run there side of a game into a larger picture for the gammers to have a massive PvP zone. Again it will be all custum map, lapising, gear, weapons, it will be 100% reprogrammed to be ours with no license infringements with SonoV. Please tell me what you think and input again this is a concept to unit us all for a greater goal massive PvP!!!!!

Maybe have it a little more team based, so its not just full PvP.
Is it going to have classes like Shaiya Creation? Or like Original Shaiya?

We are discussing that one Linxis now and I feel that most might be wanting more of the traditional style and keep the skill set basically the same for all sides. You know I prefer to be completly different on this issue and have different style play for each faction but this isnt really about what I want. I will let the people put in there input to build for the community a good solid safe fun game. I always have Ascended game that I can do what ever I want to on lol. Really I am just wanting all to work together rather then stealing stuff from our servers and then opening there own and so on. I think it would be nice if all where united to make one massive game. ( I will say that I am very careful on who is allowed to GM and mod this for the sake of all that play)

Keep in mind a lot of GMs/Admins have different views of a good server so you might get a 1-3 servers too combine xD
And yeh you never agree with the opinion of the public, but you still do what they want.

This I thought would be a chance to maybe open the platform a little and allow many different concepts and ideas to be used to serve a greater purpose. Im sure some will hate the idea for it will cost the ones that dont want a part of this to lose clients. I myself am just ready to get all out of the PS mode and into a game that can stand on its own legs without watching its back 24/7 thinking am I getting shut down this week or not from SonoV. Besides that this is new platform that no hacks bots or cheats work on ( they will have to make new ones lol) :)
I will even open it for some graphic edits and mapping changes so that it is community based but again it will be heavily moderated for protection of the clients.

Honestly, i think this is an awesome idea. The amount of time and effort it will take to make it work though is unreal. Just thinking about it. You're talking about completely ripping apart the game and peicing it all back together. At the end of the day, i think it will be fantastic. But the question still lingers "Do you have the resources and staff, or the time to do this?" What we're talking about it pretty much desiging your own game, not just modding a shaiya server to suit you, but completely taking it apart and making a new game in its self.

All in all you'll need a huge team full of people who know what they're doing. Now, i know you have that, and even if you didnt. Of corse you have the whole of elite pvpers to help you. However, do you have enough staff. Rewirting the game, changing maps, changing textures, editing classes, making new servers within your client. Sounds tough. But, i know that you have some determined people on your team and i'm hoping that you can pull it off. The compilement of so many ideas and having it work..... wow, thats just, wow.

Cudos to you for the idea, lets just hope it works!

Well maybe I should have cleared a few things up sorry... we have already the platform done. I will discuss with a few how they like to see the maps done and I will make the maps and frapp them and post youtube videos of what game enviroment will look like. I have 13 people on payroll that is it but I have another 250 people with the corp. that I am dealing with now. (sadly they alway take a % lol but it is worth it to get it done fast) So basically I have over 250 people at any given time to help out. The only two things we have not done yet is put in all the skill sets and graphics to it which takes some time but we have tried on small scale with 100% success. Also we havent made a downloader for all to recieve game which again do not see to be a problem. We have worked now on this new platform for 9 months streight so it is not something we are just thinking of doing. I am here to say my team can get this done in a matter of a few months if we have the clients to make it worth doing.

sounds like a great idea but 9 months is alot of time but i dont see the point of nine months of just work and u have how many servers
