How to make Monster.dat work?

Hello.
im pretty suck at making hacks and everything, but i heard about the monster.dat to help you look for the strong MeteorDove in mz (the one who give 5 mets) but i dont understand how to make the monster.dat work... where should i put the file and what to do? pls help me im died of searching the strong MeteorDove.

p.s. sry if i got bad english.

If you had read further, you would've discovered that this was patched long ago. It doesn't work. It changes the size of all the birds, and that doesn't help.

There is no way to do this anymore!

I would like to change the size of the monsters of the dis city someone can teach me how I do it?
