How to remove certain effects without making others disappear?

Hey guys, just wondering how to fix this...

So I follow these steps for removing effects like nobility and blessing, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], but it doesn't seem to work. So I remove the rank and coronet folders under c3/effects/other, but it also makes effects such as stig, herc, shackle, lucky time and others sometimes disappear. I could have more than one client up and on one I won't be able to see the effects and on the other they might show up fine.

So, whats the deal? How do I stop it from doing this, and is there a better way for removing only the unwanted effects that tend to lag?

Thanks.

It is possible to remove full effects LOL. Just do some .ini editing.

Please don't bump threads that are still new. x_x.

Deleting some effects does nothing at all because TQ places them in the c3.wdf files. The way I removed effects and to open them up with a .DDS extension and erase everything on there.

The example above is the 2nd reborn aura. See how it's there in the 1st portion of the picture. After erasing it, you'll see the alpha layer. When you see that, just save it & relog.

Hope that helps.

Required Files.
*.DDS thumbnail viewer.
*.DDS file editor (Photoshop/GIMP)
