Information abut ToughDrill needed !!

Hey People
as u all should know it is possible to put a 2nd Soc in most non-weapon items by bying a ToughDrill at the NPC in the market/or Mall.
If ur lucky u´ll get a second Soc if not u´ll get a StarDrill...
Well I´ve tryed to inform myself on how these things work but never got satisfying Info.

Maybe someone of u guys knows on what criteria this things creates the 2nd soc. Is it pure luck? Does it depend on the quality of the Item? On the +´s it has? Or what else?

please Post everything u KNOW? I need FACTS :p ty

I don't know for sure but I'd guess that the level and quality of the item both have an effect, just like when you're trying to promote the level using mets in TC.

That said, someone on my server recently made a 2nd soc (on the first try) in his super lv 120 tro armor.

It's "random" since nothing is random in games I put the "". But don't think I mean lvls and stuff like that make a diffrence im just saying when a program chooses a number between 1 and 10 nothing is random, it's called algorythms. But you can't even reach thoose patterns so it's "random"

Random my A** 14 fails 0 success blew nearly all my stash on it -.- most tried were on uni soc lvl 20 ish trojan armor, coro, ... yet others SEEm to have more luck on 120 super gear :P i think it works just the opposite of met spamming... if theres a chance you can still met- soc it ...chances are your gonna fail .. ===> theory <== :D

Friend made 2nd soc on a trojan armor on his 2nd try.
