[EMU] Remove ALL Item CD, no Matter what Version with a tool.

To the point, i had an idea for a program to edit the itemcache.wdb file to remove all "ITEM" cooldowns so i came up with this...

This is a Visual Basic 6 program that reads a text file called "filter.txt" for strings to search and replace in the itemcache.wdb file.

It is simple enough to use just place the "No-CD.exe" and the "filter.txt" files into your cache folder (same folder as "itemcache.wdb") then run the program and click "remove item cooldowns".
Login to the game and see if the cooldowns are removed.

You can add more filters to the text file just follow the same format.

So far i have done most of the 2 minute, 3 minute, 5 minute cooldowns removed and all potions should have a 2 second cooldown.

I will try update the filter.txt file with more strings if i get the time and or find more items with cooldowns.

If you have made changes to your itemcache.wdb file that you want to keep, make a backup copy before using this program just incase something goes wrong.


I have provided both source code and a compiled binary for you to use as you wish.
You may also have to install visual basic 6 runtime files if you get an error running the program, you can google these files.

NOTE: as you discover new items in the game they will cache to the itemcache file so if a item has a cooldown try logout of the game and run the No-CD.exe again it should remove the cooldowns off the newly cached items.

EDIT: reuploaded the files because i missed a cooldown on the decapitator, it left an 8 second cooldown which is now removed Grin

UPDATE 3 on 25.12.07
UPDATED to remove "profession level" requirements for all profession scrolls, books, recipes etc. and all riding requirements for mounts have been removed, you can ride a mount at level 1 without any riding skills.
Most of the 10, 15, 30 minute and 1 hour cooldowns should be removed now aswell.

it takes a while to process the filters so wait until it says done before closing program.

hats vergessen und frag mich ob dna full cooldown weg ist? krieg den nur auf 2 sec..

Einige Items lösen den Global Cooldown aus, für 2.3.0 gibt es momentan keine Möglichkeit den zu entfernen.

Habs geteste aufm Ancent gehen die meisten Items... ihr brauch thier keine Ites zu posten die nicht gehen da ich da sowiso nix amchen kann außer jmd weis den Hex string dafür..
werd aber sobald der typ was geadded hat auch diesen post editieren.

Die Datei ist bei Rapid leider gelöscht worden...

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, muss man nix weiter tun, als die eiden Dateien in den Cache-Ordner zu packen und die exe zu starten? Das ist alles und die Coolddowns sind weg?!

giebts ein item auser dem enthaupter wogegen die mobs nicht wiederstehen? also bosse..

mit den ele trinkets kann man nichtmal sachen wie zul gurub machen..

Jau einfac die exe reinkopieren, starten dann auf get no Cooldown klicken, kurz warten dann steht da done. und dann haste eigentlich überal no cooldown also bei mir funzt

bei mir auf dem privat server funtzt es seit heute nacht nicht mehr.
alle items haben einen mindest cooldown von 15 sek.
wie bekomme ich den denn wech?

Das Ancent Team hat in der neuen Ancent Verson leider eine automatische abfrage gemacht das alle items erst anch 15 sekunden wieder benutzt werden können.

@floklo solltest du das item erst NACH dem du das dingen installiert hast gefunden haben musst du die exe einfach nochmal starten und es sollte auch dann gehn also du must immer erst das item gefunden haben und danch neu ausführen.
