Bot Jail Bug

Okay so I had 2 noob waters in the level 70 mine in ape city, about 2 months ago, and they randomly get jailed within 12 hours of each other. I was not botting, I gave up on that when sir hooks was done being free, like version .19 or something? And sir hooks was a hunting bot, not mining. I emailed a GM for about 2 weeks and got no where, apparently their system is completely flawless and I was botting without even knowing it, huh!

I was fine letting 2 lowish water taos sit in there, but March 1st at around 6:40 conquer time, after the 3 client patch, my main (ninja) is sitting in market with prayer on, I go to enlighten him with my archer and he dissappears (ninja does). I alt+tab over to his window, and he's in the bot jail.

Now 2 days later of emailing the same gm as before, he says I was jailed OVER A YEAR AGO. WTF?!? I think I would know if my main was in bot jail for the past year.

So again, their system is flawless. I was thinking, what they're doing is illegal. It's a marketing scam. Having a system that puts you somewhere where your only hope to escape is by PAYING THEM. In a free to play game. Sounds like a marketing scam to me?

Also, any way you think I could prove I wasn't botting? Or at least that I wasn't jailed a year ago? I have a screenshot that shows someone in talk chat spamming met scrolls, but I'm sure he'll think that was edited.

well im also had a story to tell... before TQ change 2nd rb NPC to market he was at ape map... i want do a 2nd rb quest and take 1 noob with me to keep the basic item (team on)... when i teleport to 2nd rb map, i was not in 2nd rb map but im in BJ map and my noob in 2nd rb map and that shocking me lol... so i immediately send an email to TQ and tell them about my problem but got nothing reply from them... after waiting about a week and got nothing responde from TQ so i make a decision to pay with cps to get out my main from BJ lol... so what can i say here when your char got BJ and the only way to get out from BJ is paying cps lol no other alternative (if any lol)...

I've never gotten botjailed while using a bot.

Back in the day I got botjailed easily 4-5 times on different characters though generally do to lag/dropping items.

I've had tq let me out of jail TWICE for free and generally within 12-24 hours cause I could say exactly where I was and what I was doing when bot jailed.

If you send a properly worded e-mail to them and are polite then chances are you will get out for free.

The twice I got out free. Same character. Once I was in lab just looting a ton of stuff and dropping it (archer spawn cause they died super fast with lots of nubs + me there so I got loads of loot to sort through).

Was dropping items and got botjailed. I reported what I was doing and where I was and to check like chat log and they'd see I was chatting with people at the time so they let me out.

Second time I dropped a potion in bird island and got botjailed so I send them an e-mail saying exactly what time and what item I dropped when I got botjailed and was out within 12 hours.

Rule #1 when it comes to life.

If you're going to break a rule then you had better be prepared for the consequences if/when you get caught. If you are not willing to run the risk of permanently losing your main character then simply leave epvp and never try botting again... It's a valid risk you run.

Personally I lost all my main characters on conquer for testing a bug on an unrelated character (perma banned ahaha) but I simply said 'well that sucks' and never took it personally or got upset. It's the risk you run when you break rules.

That being said... tq has always been bad for botjailing people when they didn't do anything wrong but it's improved a TON in recent years. There was a time when the only way it seemed I could play without being bj'd was with a bot ahaha.

3 days after I have made donation woke up and went to log my char and bot was in jail, the only thing I did ums 2 days behind the cooperative was to test in a place that no one was tested for 15 20 min, I play for years without giving donate and now it seems they want me to spend more money on CP, I will not donate more than anything else, if not get out of jail bot stop playing and that TQ Fuck!

Okay. To the first part, I can tell them exactly what I was doing and when, but I'm talking to a GM who refuses to believe me, probably because it says I was jailed a year ago, even though I wasn't.

**EDIT** Do you remember who it was you emailed, or the email it was any way?

And to the second part, I wasn't even botting. I've used sirhooks before, but it was a while ago, and I like this site better than conquers forums because people here have been through this, I'm sure.

**ANOTHER EDIT**
What do you think of these screenshots I took?

That actually makes sense, since the CO client does track and store certain transgression committed against it(even in some mod'ed clients) and it will report on you when it can(like you stopped running a mod'ed client), which is of course why you need to do a FULL purges of all clients b4 you decide to go legit.

I simply reported using the website and they let me out within 24 hours.

I did have a legit client, I've only modded it once a while ago but have redownloaded it since then. It was over a year ago.

But who do I report to? All they have now are the forums and gm's that don't care.

What is it exactly that checks for the bot do they run a scan on all servers at a time and it detects you then or is it saved somewhere in your client files, and the server reads them and determines whos getting jailed.

Because a few accts got jailed at the same time while another one got jailed even after being logged off at the time of the scan if it even is a scan.

Or do they just scan your current CO files?

and back in the day using that old school tele hack i sent you a while back PRO never once did i get jailed.

Yeah, I mean...

It's like in real life, if you do something wrong a lot and then one day the police catches you but
it just so happens that when they did catch you it wasn't while you were doing whatever, matter of
fact you were doing absolutely nothing wrong when they did catch you?
You're still guilty.
Plain and simple.

No, seriously, we don't have to like it but that is how it works.
Which, as was said, if you cheat you take that risk, even if they catch you much later.

But yes, I do believe TQ has made some mistakes.
And so it is possible that you were botjailed in error.

Probably you might try writing to them via the contact form thing, maybe that works, I don't know.
