I want to make a private server. Like one i can test on my computer before testing on a network.

Is there any kind of walk-through or extremely detailed tutorials on how to do this?

I would appreciate links to any downloads. TY!

BTW! Im running windows 7 x64 so everything must be compatible with my OS.

Install Vmware. and get the 1 click vmware from Silk (see stickys)

Now what do i install? I have vmware. Should i get Windows server 2003 or something else?

just unpack and open Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition 2.vmx with VM
and there you go ^_^
