[Questions] Hello this is my Story

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum and i recently signed up (today) but I've been here as a guest for almost 1 month now :p I got so many questions i dont even know where to start, But i guess it would be good to start with my silkroad history.

I used to play this game 6-7 years ago back when it still was level 70 cap & only chinese races etc... I handgrinded my first character to lvl 50 untill my friend got a new account and gave me his old one with a lvl 57 Pacheon with SoSun Bow +6 i think it was i cant really remember since it was so long time. ago.

Anyway one day i got hacked and i eventually got my account back but all the gear included the SoSun Bow was lost & I dident get it back so i decided to quit the game and start playing World of Warcraft.

Untill 4 months ago when i finally quited WoW after 6 years playing it.

So 2 months ago I was surfing some SRO clips @ Youtube and I had some awesome flashbacks to the time when i played it active... All the Jobwars, Unique hunting, All of the friendly & nice people, the union guildwars outside Donwhang, Just a really awesome time i never had so fun in a game before as i had in silkroad during 70cap.

So i decided to Download the client and start play again because i missed it so much :D

I also got my hands on a sBot account and i started to bot my new character!

But when i first made my account and logged on i saw some new stuff going on so i googled some infos about whats new about the game since my time & i found out alot of stuff but i still want to ask some questions about the game in general, botting & some tips & tricks.

Okey so here we go and I'm really sorry if thoose questions is really noob but keep in mind I havent been inactive in Silkroad scene for over 7 years.

[Silkroad General, Tips & Tricks]

1. What is this "Taxi" system everybody talks about?
2. What is the best/fastest way to level up a new character? Keep in mind i got no friends that play this game and i know nobody in the game as it is now so i cant really let someone powerlevel me.

3. I currently added 500 silks & I want to know what should i buy to make my levling go faster & my character stronger? I already bought pickpet monkey. :rolleyes:
4. What's up with all this cSRO, rSRO, kSRO?

5. Is Jobwar still the same like it was at 70 cap?
6. What is this Devil spirit crap and why is there like 20 Avatars and what is it good for?

7. Is the level cap 110 ?
8. I have nothing against turks or anything but i just have to ask why are there SO MANY? everywhere i look in-game i see a turkish flag above their name WHY?

[Questions about my build/character]

1. Okey I honestly want to know ur opinion of what you think about my build? Is it still as powerful as it was at 70 cap? (I'm going to PVP)
2. Would it be a smarter move to go Fire instead of Lightning?

3. I'm really noob at this gap thing but i read somewhere the lower gap u got the +XP / -SP you get & the bigger gap the more +SP / -XP u get correct?

[Botting]

Ok I see its still the most hardcore farm game ever so i decided to buy a BOT and got my hands on this sBot account after a month or so. & I go some questions regarding it.

1. So as you know by now I'm level 38 & I'm having a hard time finding a good training place atm. My character is training at Ong's in Tarim Basin is that a good training spot for a level 38? I highly doubt it since i only get 4% xp/hour lol!

Hah, I'm not going to answer your q's but.. I have one lvl 90 archer if you maybe would like to have it, the thing is I removed all the gears on it since I wanted to concentrate on my glavier.. Anyways, thing is that I don't have the secret answer for it anymore since I never wrote it down and it was ages ago when I created the account.. Blah would you like to have it? Its in Aege server..

Hey there!

I will answer your questions and give some advices and hints about the current situation :)

Silkroad Questions:

1) The Taxi system: After a certain period on 80 cap, the European race has been added to Silkroad. They were mainly made for playing together and could only raise 2 Skilltrees. Together with them, also a new kind of mobs has been added .. party mobs. Those are the same mobs which you kill, but with more HP and strength, but also they spend more Gold, more chances to drop something, more Exp/Sp. Taxi means, someone kills mobs which are around 10 lvl over your lvl, and he kill them fast and you do follow him or sit on a nice spot where you cant be attacked .. this gives you some nice Exp .. however you have to pay them in Advance .. the risky part is, he can kick you from party or just leave ..

2) There is not really a best way, but if you want to lvl fast, you will do that in a Full Share party, along with working members. A working party would have a pretty high killing rate per hour, and a very low death rate for his members. Preferably, a working party would grind on mobs which are on a higher lvl.

3) Hm Premium helps for 28days .. you could also buy a Dress and get some helpful buffs and damage increase .. also Devil Spirit is helpful but like Premium, it only works for 28 days.

4) Those versions are made for foreign players from foreign countries .. (so rSro is made for baltic area, kSro for Korea, cSro for Chinese, and so on) .. ppl changed from iSro to those versions cause iSro wasnt loginable without Premium (premium grants 100% login success, and there has been a time where you could try to login over 12-24 hours and you didnt made it in .. and the second reason was, less stupid players and less killstealers .. this sounded very well for some players and so they changed .. (like me as well ^^) ..

5) Jobwar changed; where earlier you could dress up whereever you wanted to, nowadays you can only dress within cities. Jobbing isnt that interesting anymore, since the goldrewards for a 5 or 10 star arent that much worth .. but it has been always fun (the circumstances change from server to server .. if you are lucky, you play on a server where there enough active hunters/thiefs) ..

6) Devil Spirit have different grades (B = free from events, A = for Silks, S grade is the best and i think you can only get it from Magic pop), it grants a permanent buff while it is active and once an hour you can activate the Malicious devil Skill and you move a bit faster, inflict more damage for 10 Minutes (i can be also wrong with the time delays ..).

7) Level cap is 110, the last update was just a while ago where you can teleport to another place and collect talismans .. if you gather all talismans you are able to change it for a Sox item.

8) Probably the most players from a country are turks .. try to avoid as much as you can and dont be irritated .. anyway they can be annoying, but you will also meet a few nice ones .. try to get along, thats my advice for you in this case .. and if not .. Alt Key is helpful from time to time ;)

Questions about your char:

1) Its on the most asked questions .. Light or Fire. I tell you now, not to think to much about it, you are new kinda, you dont have friends and neither gold, so Light is the way to go for you!

2) I will post here a thread where a guy also asks which to take, and after 3 pages of flames and some few useful comments he werent able to decide .. read here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] .. the smart thing would be to decide for yourself, asking wont bring you in this case anywhere!

3) Probably the most gay part on this game is farming SP. Approximately a FF 110 SS Light Nuker Char would need around 2,5-3 Million SP .. but how to farm that much SP? There are a few ways ..

a) The solo way: You get a fine set, find a spot where you dont have much killstealers around, try to get a fine weapon as well .. build up a gap (the max gap you can get is 9 btw .. 0 gap means 100% Exp and 100% Sp for each killed mob, 5 gap means 50% Exp and 150% Sp, 9 gap lowers your exp rate to 10% and raises Sp rate to 190%) .. and stay there for months .. and get some Sp together .. this is probably the longest way and yet you would need maybe a year and wouldnt be nearly FullFarmed for 110 ..

b) The Ong/Hun/Sosung/etc .. Farmers: after party mobs were implemented, you were able to farm on a different way. The basics are: you put a Lvl 70+ or higher Int based charakter on a Ong tree which is able to kill ong with 1 nuke (or even more ongs with 1 nuke), and invite the low farmer chars into a share party. The lowies hide beneath the hill, or on a safe spot. Lowies dont put any stats, or raise any skilltrees. They get lots of SP per hour since mobs have a great respawn rate, and after a certain lvl .. they suicide many times (called dlvling) to lose the gained exp and lower their Lvl again back to 15+ .. for more informations refer to google or use the search button.
Ongfarming is very popular and experienced ong farmers, farm enough SP on a char to make em FF 110 within two months (or earlier depending on build).

c) The Jobcave farmers: 110 cap brought some very nice quests along. Now you get alot of Sp for each quest you deliver and the quests are kinda easy. The best part is the Jobcave. Jobcave can be entered only with suits, and inside you obtain quests which can be fast achieved (best way is to have a good working party) and they grant lot of Sp for each delivered quests. Jobcave can be entered only two times per day i think and its pretty full since it is very popular also right now ..

Anyway it would be best to farm some SP on Ongs or wherever you get the chance to, and finish the rest in JobCave i guess ..

Botting Question: 4% per hour is fine really .. after 90 you get like 0,5% on a 0 gap with almost no Killstealers .. so think again if that is ok or not ;)
always look out for places which arent badly crowded with goldbots, partys, taxis .. and have a average good respawn rate .. this time till 54 mobs .. you will have troubles finding nice spots .. most are taken or have a bad spawn rate ..

My advices for you:

- Try to find some buddies, they will help you out with gold some plvling from time to time and so on .. and anyway wheres the point playin a mmorpg when you wanna go all time alone .. !?

- Be careful making business .. lots of scammers are out there .. and if you buy taxi you might get ripped off, this happens but you have to get over it ..

- Its all about having fun, if you dont have fun .. then think twice if you wanna spend monthly money for a game which is getting played from a software while you watch it ?!

The reason i thought 4% was very low was infact that i had 22% / hour last night before going to bed with a 100% exp scroll :p
