Sandstorm foxhound and all pets from rainbow valley have extremly high chances to drop a pet.
Every one else has just a low chance.
thunder leopard in nordical lands has a very low chance.
Lord pets have the same drop rate as normal pets. Problem is that there can only be 8 of them on at a time (one per realm) and they are much harder to kill than regular pets.
some tricks? Be in a party. If a partymember kills a mob, you have a slight chance to see it drop. So if you have 2 people (including yourself), you'll have 2x the chance to find a pet. if 3, 3x times, 4, 4x, etc.
second trick is lots and lots of patience :P
