Melee someone off screen?

Somehow,someone on my server uses some sort of hack to hit people with melee from off the screen.He could be standing anywhere between 1 and 4 jumps away and still hit you directly(not fastblade)

I think it has something to do with packet sending....something like on proxy how it has the !record and !repeat commands...if you use those sometimes if your lucky and u dont disconnect you can hit something from far away(on your screen) on v3n0m proxy i tried using !record and !repeat on one of my characters and brought another one to watch...this is what i found:

On the character i was using the attack sequence on he stood still in the same place

on the character i was viewing on,he was teleporting from the place i started the auto...too the character,and going back and forth really fast.

This was not what the guy on my server was using though...he didnt teleport or move at all...its like he just sent a packet the the server saying he hit me with melee right infront of me,but infact he was on the other side of the screen.Also when i tried,i dced alot,he doesnt...i think its a completely diffrent program,but hopefully you guys can help figure out what hes doing and what hack.

Its possible. Just report him to a GM, for being a fool and abusing it.

Yah...that would be good and everything if it wasnt net7....the GM has some kinda deal with him so he cant get banned,i think it has something to do with giving them all the info on the botters...anyway if its possible,how? if you cant beat em,join em.(atleast on him)

To me sounds kinda like the 'target' command with proxy (given up calling it v3n0m) :p what you think?

If this happened on virgo in BI, don't report :p

No, its different. Its a game bug, not a proxy feature. #target simply JUMPS on the target you chose, and sends an attack packet right after.

I am net7. I dont play CO anymore. The bug that person used, is one of THE MOST ANCIENT UNFIXED bugs yet. Just add [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] to MSN Messenger and tell her directly.

Put sit and wave as a hotkey beside each other. Keep tapping them both as fast as u can. You will notice your ping going up. When it reaches about 12k, jump over to guy, hit him and run. most times it looks like u hit him from far away.
