NPC HELP!

02/16/2011 23:26 urworstenemy#1
I know i should probably look around and see if there is a thread about this cause i can guess that there is... But im going to lay out my issue and if anyone can help great.. if not point me in the directions that i can get help for it.

I am adding some NPC... they added just fine, showing up on the map where i want them. looking like i want them. But the only issue that i am having is the dialogs are not going to the npc.. like for an example... Alex second reborn, I added the dialog and everything for him into the NPCDialog.cs... but he still says he needs to be coded.. any help would be great.. If you want more information Code.. whatever just let me know..

thanks in advance

I haven't used the other program you listed but you cannot simply open .cs files, edit them and expect the server to work...

You have to compile everything into a .exe file in order for any changes to be made... IE: you should be editing the actual project file and then either debuging or building it and then running the .exe it produces.

Debugging is what most people do which would be f5 in visual studio.

*hint*: You can download visual studio 2010 ultimate edition trial off the microsoft website and then google a license code. There's a master activation key leaked all over the net for it.

No cracks/patches required.
