"MAIL_CLOSE_CONFIRM Are you sure you wish to cancel?
MAIL_WRITE_SUCCESS You have successfully sent a letter.
MAIL_WRITE_FAIL You have failed to send a letter.
MAIL_ITEM_SAVED The item is saved.
MAIL_WRITE_DESC Please drag the item that you wish to add. You have %d letter papers left."

I think you can't bring the mail system back since the error message (Unable to send mail) appears a few seconds after we click the send button. It means that mails are checked on server-side.
