tbot.....loopback adapter??

about the loopback adapter .....i read that if i want to use tbot i have to enable loopback adapter first is this important, and what does it do???

and if its important can someone uplaod the loopback adapter video to me cause its kinda hard to see every step.

Heres how to make one also to edit the ips of the loopback adapter

How to make loopback adapter:
To manually install the Microsoft Loopback adapter in Windows XP, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. If you are in Classic view, click Switch to Category View under Control Panel in the left pane.
3. Double-click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Next.
4. Under See Also in the left pane, click Add Hardware,and then click Next.
5. Click Yes, I have already connected the hardware, and then click Next.
6. At the bottom of the list, click Add a new hardware device, and then click Next.
7. Click Install the hardware that I manually select from a list, and then click Next.
8. Click Network adapters, and then click Next.
9. In the Manufacturer box, click Microsoft.
10. In the Network Adapter box, click Microsoft Loopback Adapter, and then click Next.
11. Click Finish.

How to change loopback adapters ip:

- Click on "My Network Places"
- "Network Connections" you will see it at the side on the menu
- Then just right click on loopback click on properties highlight "Internet Protocol" then click on properties again it will take you into the menu where to change the ips.

control panel
click classic view on the side (beacuse its easier)
open up "add hardware" > click next on the first window > choose "install the hardware that I manually select from a list"
next window should be a list of hardware
go down to "network adapters" > press next
in the next window click "windows" from the manufactuers panel > then microsoft loopback adapter from the network adapter panel
