[All devs read]Regarding the hackers

Recentley Rebirth was forced down by a new group of misteries hackers. They left a message saying that they would take down more servers.

Not long after Shade comfermied the deadlyness of them and gave us steps to take to avoide being taken down. Later Shades server was hit by massive attacks.

Using some simple tactics i have found this out about the hackers.

They are native to E*pvpers. They only attack the larger servers. And they are reading this i bet.

What i came to about the emails is that they are most likely a threat that you are on the list they have mentionde.

They whole purpose of this is: Stop now and we can all forget about this, but attack anymore servers and i will personaly create a dev team and find out who you realy are.

All devs reading please give me back up on my above statment! We can't stand back and let them threaten us and destroye our community!!

This information was already known, but support in taking them back. A member of my staff got a nice script that renders their os useless, might be fun to play with. I am sick of this now, and i want to know who did these things, i dont forget easy...

I suck at about everything but if you need someone to talk to or just help bouncing ideas or opinions im here. I also see both sides of a coin, so if you're coming up with a blank then give us a shout. (Yeas i realise the inuendo there..... shush)

Use a monitor program to monitor all made connections outside the shaiya network (known protocols with known conneciton types). Then log everything else. If everyone does this, and we release our logs when something happeneds, we can figure out together what happened, and TRY to trace the people who did it, however, i expect them not to be that stupid to leave their IP traces, they probably use VPN connections.

i dont know much either but u guys have my support on this..we need to stop them before they attack anymore servers...as angel said i can bounce ideas around for you guys too

Hope this makes them think 2!! :awesome:

we need to take this to a private group because as Danco pointed out they have to be using Epvpers. and atleast we can monitor who has access to info within a private group
