And what do you mean by savedvariables for the addon, is that the guides folder when you download the addon itself?

"Saved variables store all addon settings. The TOC States indicates that an addon can read these settings but cannot modify or save them directly. Instead, all settings are saved to the addon’s saved variables.

I see 7 TOC files in the RXP guides folder. Should i delete all of them ?

Okay this is strange, i removed the rxp guides folder and reinstalled it and somehow it now works, I have no idea what i did nor what was causing this issue.

Sorry that was a odd typo from me.

I was saying the terms and conditions state, that addons are read only.
All settings are saved to the savedvariables.

So I tell people to delete the savedvariables for the addon.

Seeing people do not say if they used the addon before.

If they have, they need to delete them > Reason > A major update means that the settings are not compatible.
If they have not, they do not need to delete them.

RXP leveling guides doesn't work with RXP guides v4.6.63-classic

i had to downgrade to 4.6.62-classic

I extracted 'RxpGuides-v4.6.63-classic' and dragged the RXPGuides folder in to my Classic Era interface. Is there someone else that needs to be done?

When I right click on RestedXP it only gives me options for 1-20

That has confused me because the file name is RXP Leveling and the folder name is RXP Leveling not RXPGuides

The 'RXP Leveling' folder for Classic has 31-85 so I assume it's not actually for Classic? For Classic what folder name should be dropped in the Interface folder, please?

Well Classic is not vanilla
Classic currently is Cataclysm
Era is Classic, so it goes in the era addon folder.

So on your page you linked on page 1 "https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/restedxp-guide/files/all?page=1&pageSize=20" which one should I be downloading for Vanilla for the anniversary realms? Thanks btw.

I tried "Classic" from that page and that didn't work for showing any guides past level 20. I put it in the Classic_Era addons folder

Well that is the good thing about the "Legion API", era, classic, hc, anniversary, Retail all use the same one.

So just install the latest file that's it. It is all the same addon

Why would you do that? You go to the link and download the top file. Example: v4.6.63-4-ge4a8cb6

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] - I did do that multiple times and moved the 'RxpGuides' folder to Classic_Era addons folder. That's what I did last time and it worked a long time ago.
