  1. DynDNS & No-IP & co. are just binding your IP-Address to a sub-domain (e.g. random.no-ip.com), they don't use a specific port.
  2. Only 1 program can use a port at the same time, means, you cannot run XAMPP & the gs on port 80 at the same time.
  3. If io.port doesn't exist, just simply add it.

what is the best port for me to use for the game to work its best besides port 80?
or does it not matter? i thought about using port 85 or something

Port 8o is usually reserved for TCP/IP connections and it does not look like the game is using port 80.

I have no idea what the N and the S call outs are for but it looks like your...

hab mal ne frage und zwar bin im am suchen wie ein bekloppter aber finde es nicht
auch nicht bei der lua. on first login

habe danach auch gesucht aber nicht gefunden oder ich bin zu blöd dafür

und zwar suche ich die 3 anfangs items wenn man sich das erste mal einloggt


waffe,rüstung und beutel wo kann ich die finden??

wäre echt nett wenn mir jemand helfen würde

In der .lua wirst du diese nicht finden, soweit ich das in Erinnerung habe, findest du das bei einer smp in der Datenbank (smp.insert_character?).

The PServer-Connector is using the standard-parameter, so it could be that it is trying to connect to a different port. Try using a .bat-File instead.



Wie wär's wenn du die .opt-Dateien mal postest? Andernfalls können wir nur raten.
I made a .bat, the game crashes with a bunch of crazy letters as my error report... my server shows i login everything seems fine other than the fact I CANT PLAY! haha.

i apologize in advance, i have looked several times over last 24 hours, have attempted SEVERAL different versions of ppls gameserver.opt files, i still cannot get past the captainherlock step, princess runs fine, but when i then try herlock, it immediately pops up a db init error : failed login failed for user 'rappelz_game'
the owern of all the db is sa no pw, 8.1 files from al7rob

You left the user as 'rappelz_game' in the opt file...

You need to change it to sa and re compress the file.

kann mir jeamnd vielleicht erklären wie ich den HV bug fixe ??

ich benutze das ticket 910000 und 910023 + den hv buff 9004 und habe auch versucht
T game.cash_usable_server: 1 und oder 0 zu machen aber keine reaktion die HV NPC funktioniren nicht
