Oh dear, you're reminding me of a certification I'll make next week. It'll be the highest possible level in English and I still have no clue whether or not I should prepare myself and if I do, how. :\ Watching english dubbed anime, I guess.

As long as we can count on you when it comes to anime-fanboying and thus annoying Mostey and Seekin, it's alright. :) Good luck btw, I know that horrible feel when one exam makes the difference between failure and success.

Sure, doing what you do in free time counts as working ;p But in all seriousness, the English you see me typing is the one I learned from using it all the time on the internet and from watching alot of shows in English. Unlike other countries, the Belgian tv has alot of films in their original language, with dutch subtitles.

A nice exception (which is due to lack of funds) is EinsPlus, they don't dub interviews etc. and sometimes air shows with English speaking narrators (e.g. sports events).

I used to listen to TED talks and the like for my C1 certification which was pretty useful since the listening part was pretty hard in my opinion. Do you aim for C1 as well?

I'm about to complete my 4th semester in about 2 weeks. I have no idea what I'm doing. If I had to rate my studies thus far, this semester would rank 4th. Mimimi. :(

Isn't it ennoying as hell to see the lips not matching the sound? And with some dubs they don't even remove the actual language which results in two languages being spoken at once. This is common on French tv here (although I rarely ever watch it).
