Does the program window give any error before it closes?Quote:
As said above I updated and everything worked fine.
Today I ran it and it now closes immediately upon opening. I run it and it briefly opens but then closes after maybe a second.
It did work yesterday after making a fresh copy and it ran fine. No issues. I think I ran it a second time after too.
Not that I have seen but it closes SO quickly. I do not get anything else pop up or give any other errors. Just a quick dos window like normal but then it closes. I see no messages or anything.Quote:

No files have been edited apart from I guess when I gave it the location of WOW but I used the on screen promt for that.
If it's that error, then it's the old version being run, as there's no text in the new version that says "Checking for updates for {guide version name}". Also, the retail version in the new version of the Zygor Updater is referred to as shadowlands now.Quote:

FYI, just delete the old folder and download the "newer" updater. thats what i did and it worked just fine.
Did the on screen prompt look like this?:Quote:

should the root folder be H:\World of Warcraft ? cause it wont download the 4th may version of zygorQuote:

But yeah, as you said, it's best to delete the old folder, and then extract the latest version of the Zygor Updater to a clean empty folder :-)

Yes. It'll give you an error if you have input the wrong directory. If it went through when you gave it that directory, then it should be fine.Quote:

it says its up to date when i have ingame 8.0.24575 releaseQuote:

It should download the May 4th version of Zygor, as that is what it downloads when I set it to download via the program. I just tested again, and it downloads the 8.0.24593 version, which is the May 4th version :-)
Ah, try deleting the addon first, and then install it via the Updater program. The way it checks for updates is via dates, so it compares the upload date with the Zygor addon folder you currently have installed. It may give false "up-to-date" positives.Quote:
