Yeah no matter what I use to extract the fixed version posted it has various lua errors. I've tried as one other person has done and deleted the whole thing and reinstalled WoW to no success. Still the same lua error as I posted earlier.

Well I do not see why people are getting errors, there was only 1 line of code they changed. Because their previous one was a problem and I removed that one.

When fully extracted it should be

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

As the last person that had an issue with the previous version. It was not even fully extracted. Because it never matched the full file size extracted.

The attributes definitely don't match for the fixed 801 version and none of the four links and 7zip/winrar extract it right so far:

Size: 87.1 MB (91,416,928 bytes)
Size on Disk: 88.9 MB (93,278,208 bytes)
Contains: 894 Files, 64 Folders

Short of trying beta versions of 7zip and winRAR they're both as up to date and its usually a simple extract and copy to folder or extract directly. I'll try a check disk but the only attribute that jumps out at me right away is not being able to remove the read only attribute on the extracted files/folders. Not that I expect anything to write to any of the files but I'm not sure if the attribute alone can cause a problem.

Thanks for that clear feedback. Let’s hope we can find out the cause. Is the saved variables corrupted?

I'm at a loss in explaining why 801 and even the fixed 801 didn't work for a small group of people. Deleting saved variables, cache files, previous versions, game repair, reinstalling, different links, clearing browser cache, current 7zip/winrar, different extractions methods all didn't work in my case.

803 works like a peach though.

Good that one works for you. They released like 4 versions before 803. So I checked the code and released that. I was posting all the versions, I may have got 1 mixed up. Due to the changes were to similar.

.19801 is no longer on Zygor's changelog. Was it withdrawn?
It now only lists .19795 as the latest version.

They messed up the big update. Then they posted another that was bugged. Then they posted another that was bugged. Then they posted 803 that has 1 change in it with no issue and no changelog.
