Hello Sky i am just wondering if there is a newer version of the "guides" folder for RestedXP? the version here is from September it works fine but i figured if there was a newer version of the written guides there might be some changes.

Most recent RXP update broke the guides for me. They must be ignoring them somehow

no issues here did you update the addon and then copy the guides folder back over again?

I fixed it by purging RXP altogether and downloading the previous version and redoing a clean install

so instead of purging it and reinstalling the latest update.
You purged it and went back to a older file. When the saved varibles are the issue. But people refuse to delete them and then keep the issue.

As others asked, and I expected a weekly update on the guides. Seeing they expect updates to guides weekly when a game hasn’t changed.

But it is noted with the last two expansions the quality of guides are written so well there has been hardly any need for any changes or update updates. But then again they are written by a different team and people praised to do a much better job.

As for classic that’s where I get a bit complicated. They did have fashions, which makes a lot of sense.
But this year they may changes without changing the version.

Also, when they are changes to the guides they do not notify the customer they have been changed. Say as of two weeks ago, it has been no changes at all.

But seeing people go by the time of upload and not the content of the guides because I do not know what changes are. People have no idea what changes that are to the guides.

As well, there is never change look to the actual guys either so no one knows if there are changes or what changes that are.

But people could say that if there is an update, I could point out what changes are are. But since if they change look, I have no idea what changes that are either.

Also people keep on saying update update, there is an update. It changed this and that. When I ask what changes to the "Guides", they quote the addon instead.

I just deleted the RestedXP addon and reinstalled the version of the addon that I was using before, everything works as it did before now.

Deleted the "addon" reinstalled the version of that "addon" you was using before and now it works.

When the most common issue is the "Saved variables" that people do not want to remove. Seeing they claim it will not make the addon work.

The "??" is because your English doesn't make total sense, but it is clearly not your first language so that is okay - you do quite well

i understand :) i can see the same thing as you on the Github page that most of the guides haven't changed the ones i'm mainly interested in is the Hardcore Classic ones for example these.

is it possible for me to just download those .lua files in a use them alongside the 20-60 guide you provide? obviously they dont make the 20-60 guide github page public so i have no idea what has changed in that one

Well do not blame me for your lack of understanding English. Maybe it is not your first language and that is why you had issue with the addon.

Seems no one else has any issues. Only people that has issues with the file, do not want to follow the advice. Then come back with you English is bad, not your first language. Hey, why not bring color in to it? Seems that can be obvious right?

By the way, this saved variables file did not fix the addon when I originally posted this. I tried that before rolling the addon version back.

Well then shows however you installed it was corrupted.

Seeing people could use wow up, curseupdater, Wago and never have any issues.
But people seem to want to manually download it and manually install it for some reason and everytime. But then have issues for some reason.

@[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] well for months no one said anything. For months, people kept on demanding that the paid guides are updated. When I ask for proof, they show the free content instead.

Then @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] points something out, clear and simple and I just fix it.
