I do really enjoy playing this game and I think it's one of the best private servers out there. Anything I say here is just my personal opinion and it does not mean it should be the way I want it to be.
First thing: Banning
When I first started this game my antivirus deleted a .dll file without me noticing. This caused that I couldn't read the ingame text. By the time i reached level 24 I had multiple warnings of scamming attempts and was eventually banned permanently. I believe this is connected with the missing .dll file but it was an unpleasent start. I installed the game correctly and gave it an other try. This time without any problems.
In general in in favor of strict rules in a game. This game has them but I think it's a bit to strict. For example, if you insult a staff member you will get a permanent ban. I would think a temporary ban would be sufficient here and if repeated a permanent ban. I think so for most of the offences. For example, lottery farm. I've done a simple trade run in which I got 9 lottery tickets! I did not farm them or anything but it's still a lot. I am really hesitant to do trade runs since people get banned for lottery farm. When is it actually considered farming them? Is it when a GM or EM sees you standing at one point with your trade for like 20 seconds? Sometimes after a thief spawn I go to the toilet real quick or grab something to drink. What if at that time an EM or GM is looking at me? Would he think i'm farming lottery tickets? I think it needs to be specified for the players, if possible, at which point it is actually considered lottery farming.
Second thing: Unique hunting
Unique hunting has always been part of silkroad. Unique hunting is a fun activity but sadly mostly for high level players. My personal preference would be that there is a maximum level which you can have in order to attack an unique. Or as an alternative create 2 kinds of uniques. One with a level restriction and one without. For example if I was level 40 trying to kill tiger girl. I would be attacking for like 10 or 15 minutes to get it at 60% health. Then a maxed player comes by and just kills it with 1 or 2 hits. That kinda makes uniques only something for high level players. Now I know people will say ''that has always been part of the game'' and ''that's just how it goes in silkroad'', but aren't we all playing on a private server cause we want something different? I don't think it's necessary to implent such a thing cause within a week or 2 everybody is maxed anyway, but it would make it more pleasant for the new players in their first 2 weeks.
Thing 3: Lack of lower level economy
This is really a thing in basically all the private servers and maybe some isro servers that have been around for 100 years. Since everybody levels up so quickly in private servers there is no need for lower level gear. If you want to buy seom decent gear or alchemy material you have to at least look at 13D items. Anything below that is nearly impossible to make a good set out of. I don't think this could be solved but it is a thing that annoys me a bit :P.
Thing 4: The community
Again, this is a two-sided thing and actually not something the developers can do something about. There are also different aspects about the community I want to talk about.
1. Communication
What I've noticed is that a part of the community lacks the ability to communicate in English and still post globals sometimes in a different language when there is no EM or GM online.
2. Asskissers
As a beginner trying to understand the game I tried to PM a few people posting globals with a simple question. Some of them responded and helped me out but some just ignored me to post an other global a minute later when a GM or EM logs on saying ''Hi GM how are you today? Are you doing an event today?'' This is basically standard everytime a GM or EM logs on. Beside this there is also the occasional ''Event plez'', ''I need event plez I need level up'' and ''why my account got banned I did not scam, farm, insult staff (or whatever reason they were banned for)''
3. GM and EM
I hope I don't insult any of you since I don't want to get banned :P. It's really hard to actually contact a GM or EM at some times. There is not always someone online and if they are online people will spam them and they organize events ofcourse. I understand that it's hard to respond to everyone but this is annoying for players who have a real issue with which they need help. The only GM/EM who every replied to me and tried to help me out was [EM]Asuno.
The things I said about the community only goes for a part of the community. The way i described it, it seems that the community sucks while the community isn't that bad actually.
Thing 5: Events
A very positive thing about this server and yet I can still say something negative about it :P. First of all I like it how some events are organized according to the players level and that there is a seperate event for wizards. Cause everybody who isn't a wizard hates wizards lol. The negative side of the event is that when there is a spawning event somewhere a different range of uniques will be spawned. Ranging from level 1 to level 145 i believe. Every level player can participate but this is most likely being ruined high level players who go for the low level uniques and after that the high level ones and in the proces actually hardly leaving anything for the lower level players. Basically the same thing as I said about unique hunting.
Thing 6: Inventory expansion quests
It actually took quite some while till I found the monsters needed for the inventory expansion quests. As a chinese character I had no trouble with mangyangs obviously but i couldn't find earth taoists. Maybe it would be a possibilty to create a beginner guide which explains all the differences between isro and demonroad. This might be something that would attract new players to the game as well.
I've been playing for little over a week now and I reached level 130. Just 10 more levels before I'm maxed. Everytime I play this game I understand it a bit more. Maybe when I'm maxed for a while I have other feedback. If I do I will post it again.
I just have one question. Will there be a time when new content becomes available? Or will the game stay the way it is just now?
Anyways, I like the server and I think the crew is doing a good job so far. Keep it up!
In addition to my previous post I want to say something about achievements. I like the idea of achievements but personally I would like to see it applied differently. This has to do with the thing I said about unique hunting as well. One of the achievements it hunt most uruchi in a day. Personally I would like to see instead of most uruchi in one day, at least 5 uruchi in one day. Or maybe a combination of both. I think this would prevent that the uniques are being killed by the same player over and over again.
I'm done with all the negativity for today and I will say something about the good things about this server. :P
First of all I like that the level cap is 140, together with that comes 13D and 14D and a variation of 14D weapons. There is a good mix of the premium goods that are obtainable through ingame gold or monster drops and what is available for silk (DP). As most private server silk can be obtained by voting, which is in my opinion a decent amount (around 7DP each day).
The thing that is most appealing to me are the events. Every day there are events which usually give you lots of exp and gold. Being a private server leveling is much much easier than on silkroad. Although, it is still a bit of a challenge to reach level 140. So it's not really easy to become maxed. When you've reached the max level there is still lots of things you can do. Fortress wars, trading, hunting, thieving, pvp, alchemy, events, unique hunting and achievements. Probably some more that I didn't mention here.
What I like about trading is that the actual trade itself isn't the most profitable you do during trading. Thief NPC's drop lottery tickets that can give you amazing prices. Some of the items you can obtain are items that are not in silkroad. So that is pretty cool.
Also, this is a server with one of the highest uptime of all private servers. Despite the recent server attacks it's still online most of the time.

Hi, thank you for the positive and negative feedback :P
I am available here (epvp), or here(forum.demonroad.net), sometimes in the game also. I check the forums daily, 3 or 4 times.
About the quests you can find more info at our wiki page (wiki.demonroad.net). If something is missing, you can post to the related forum page, and the content managers will expand the list.
I had a conversation with the EM's, and I told them not to ban everyone who tries to annoy / harass him. They probably took it personally :)
Why did you get a ban?
And a small update to the players:
As you experienced in the few past days, Demonroad was under a heavy exploit attack. We have succesfully mitigated it, launched an exploit filter, and with an outer help several another bugs and attack-factors were repaired. The server is now stable, but this was not the first and last attack, and sooner or later other bugs and haters will appear. I (Konstantin) want to keep the server stable as long as I can and possible, so I will always do my best for you.
Thank you for the patience, and sorry for the disconnects. We will do exp events in the weekend. (also RTD, Quiz twice a day)
New features:
- Server flood protection
- Exchange delay (10 seconds, no more annoying players)
- Stall delay (10 seconds, no more scams)
- Global delay (10 second, no more global spam)
- Reverse delay (10 seconds, no more reverse unique hoppers)
