Edit: solved it! in the options, set the season to 'none'. this fixes it.

I updated and deleted the save variables and I have no issue and I do not even play classic or even use the addon

My post got deleted somehow? I edited it directly after my comment: I tried following:
- udpate it via curse
- use old guide backup
- completely removed/freshly installed it
- tried different variations with the guide folders

but without any success for now.

Compeltely removed it? That is the addon only?
I see lua errors do that is down to the devs to fix it. I do not even make the addon

Go into the RXP settings and turn off Detect season and the speedrun guides will load, Still a red window but the right guides

^ This works, just turn off detect season and select season as None, then you can turn off the hardcore mode and return the window to blue as well

cant even find how to turn off detect season, lol

^ In game do :

ESC -> Options -> AddOns ->RestedXP Guides

Afdter that click on Guide Routing,

* Uncheck : Detect Season
* Uncheck : Hardcore Mode
* In the season Dropdown choose : None
After that click on Run Guide Configurator and it should work

Try changing your guide to any Survival guide. So right click on the addon and choose any Survival guide, after that check the Guide Routing again

Confirming this works for me as well. You select none and speed run guides appear again.

Alpha build installed.

I fixed it by downloading 4.6.47 from the Curseforge website.

Extracted it to AddOns folder. Removed Guides folder. Extracted the cracked Guides folder into the RXPGuides folder.

Went in game, Clicked Guide Routing, unchecked Detect Season, chose "None" in the Season Dropdown. Then I RELOADED.

This made the speedrun guides to appear.

I would also suggest to right click on your guided and deactivate hardcore mode
