Changes (v2.0):
  • New clean interface
  • Arrow based navigation
  • Way more user friendly
  • More control over which Zygor Guide addon you want to install
  • TBC support added
  • Only gives you options for the WoW versions you actually have installed, so if you only have Shadowlands installed, you'll only get an option to install/update that. Or if you have Shadowlands, and classic installed you'll only get options to install/update those, etc.
  • Future proof! This means if/when Blizzard decides to add a new version (maybe WOTLK next), then it'll be as easy as opening the new wow-versions.json file, and just add a new entry for the new version. Very easy. I will never have to change the code for the updater program unless there are some bugs that need fixing :-)

New updater seems to work great. Great work on it. Would it be possible to update the OP so the link points to V2? :feelsgoodman:

Does the program show any error? Also, try running as admin if you haven't already, see if that'll solve it :-)

I can't see why it would crash on start though, if there's no error

Hmm, I've been trying a few things to see if I can get the same, but I can't seem to replicate it.
What OS do you use and do you have at least .NET Framework 4.8 installed? :-)

That seems to be the old version of the Zygor Updater. Try downloading the new version from here [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] :-)

Then I'm not sure what it could be. Really weird, sorry for not being much of help. It's hard to know for sure what it could be without any proper error message :-)

I think I had the same error and the app closed on me. Ran it as admin and everything worked fine
