Yep, it was in Evolution files which you've took it from the root. and the number of "zombies" as you've called right now was around 10k and 11k ip. mostly, 1 k online.
Anyway, DDoS is the best solution for such servers to be down. Even with protection, one hour of badass DDoS would be enough to take any server down.

Believe me, it's not like that. The more victims / zombies you have, the strong is your DDoS attack goes on.
You must did not test any botnet till now thats why you're saying that. Let me explain:
Botnet based on collecting people under your control. You can download their files, hdd, send messageboxes to scare em and use the conenction of the whole online list to ddos someone. When you keep attack on someone, the botnet client on your victim's pc gets crashed because of the shitload attack that the client itself can not handle .. and the only way to reopen it by restarting the victim's pc. And, if he felt his connection goes wrong like shitload of lag without downloading anything, he may download new windows and you've lost him till he open the infected shit you've prepared first.
Simply, to make sure the attack will continue over 4 days +, you gotta get badass number of zombies/victims into your botnet.
