If you play in the DOB orbit panel your fps would be at ~120! :P

the classy 2D client is not using the GPU to calculate, the 2.5D client however does. Just as a side note. ;)
So if you have an onboard GPU chip, but a strong CPU you might want to run on the 2D version.
