And it's not the rules, it's the consequences that need to get stricter. Warning someone for doing something isn't really enough for someone IMO, since it'll take 9 warnings for a ban, and the ban isn't even that long.

Not that the ban is even going to do anything, it's so easy to make a new account... they also don't care about their accounts, they just use it to post their server thread and lick people's ass like "YEY WHELCUM BRO, BEST SRV ERVRRV".

Why not have applications to post? Say only mods can open threads in advertising section and people can submit their applications to the mods.

Quality has to be defined first.
It is not as easy as you might think.

Approval sections need alot of attention and consume alot of time.
There is 1 moderator only. He might need some help in the future.

Doesnt take as much time as youd think. It takes motivation and consistency. Our forums were getting spammed by spambot 24/7 but I still was clearing the threads every hour, same thing here but its just that you have to filter it rather than deleting everything.

The pServer era is a bit more stressful than your ecsro/swsro/emulator time.
Of course you are right, that you need a bunch of motivation. But it is hard to handle these kids.
The community is so immature nowadays.

Sadly the community mostly consists of arabs/turks. Not saying they are bad, but it just so accidentally happens that most of them are acting retarded with no respect to any kind of rules. Obviously every nation has retards, but not as many as these two combined.

well there are enough retarded europeans/americans, but well statistically you will have more retarded egyptians/turks -because there are more turks/egyptians- in this section. Also, I wonder why 99% of the servers are owned by egyptians/turks, that does indeed make no sense

Banning the Turkish/Egyptian ip's ain't really gonna help. He will get like 20 players @ his server, also most of them donate.
