Can someone tell me if the donation is 1-time or a per year/annual? I think Buffy is sleeping after working hard to make it work

Run CCleaner. You most likely still have the old DLL in your Tempfolder.

Buffy, aren't you thinking about making a cheaper version with only Autoexplore? Because for example me, I would pay like 3€ for autoexplore, but I don't need all those other hacks :)

like I PM'd Buffy...I didnt know the OTHER version wasn't his, until this last patch. I had to google to find him here. As a 1-time fee 10€ is totally worth it for what it does. especially reading now he already fixed it.

after adding an exception I got it to run

save username/password doesnt work.
load arealist doesnt work (unknown area) have to manually load maps

new database: the downloader bar doesnt move - after a few minutes it does say it's finished update.

Once up and running I get a connection time out after a few minutes and crash. Also sometimes it just immediately closes

All of the above options do indeed work, I would suggest clearing out the entire folder and downloading it again. I wouldn't be surprised if the version you had has caused some issues, so try again.

Compatibility mode for WIN XP SP3 and disable Antivirus. Make sure you have administrator rights.

delete+reinstall fixed everything but the user/pass save. I've been RC admin to run, and just set xp sp3 compatibility - still does not save. Disabled AV - doesnt save. Not a huge problem. just an annoyance as the pass isn't something i'd likely to remember

Take a look into \Midnight\data\setting.ini
You should have something like this: (your account at the end)

dont have a data folder, but a db folder. and there is no setting.ini file (searched for hidden)

Buffy there's 1 problem. if i use click to teleport & successfully teleported the speedhack will reset to normal so i have to uncheck & check the speedhack button again to enable.

ok, then you must...
1) Create manually the "data" folder: \Midnight\data
2) Open Setting menu, modify/assign Hotkeys, close the window + Save.

Now you have: \Midnight\data\setting.ini

3) Close/restart Midnight, flag Save uid/pwd, login

That all :)
