No you need to find what patch warmane is running and if it needs hermes. Then get the one that matches that patch, then go from there.

As I know for some, warmane works and others it does not.

The last 4 people said the same. Did not check the file and said it was not updated. When they did check the file, they found out it was updated.

So did you check?

I say that because it is updated and you are making out it is not.

hi 911dky i saw in link UI's folder with naowh full ui. Founded txt and will try import string to wowup addons, but arhive maked few months ago. When i checked ShadowLin21 repository, i saw couple profiles for elvui and wa's. Can u ask me, this import string for Naowh addons is fresh like updated changes from repository? or Noawh dont have new addons for add to string?

Why are people going by the date of the folder and not the date of the file? Can anyone explain that?

Am I uploading a file or a folder?
I am uploading a file. So what is the literal point to keep on changing the folder for? When I am changing the file.

Waiting for someone to explain why they use the folder that they donor download as validation and not the file that they actually download as validation.

When you add a folder to your OS. Do you change it every time you add a folder to it? No? So why think I would for this????

Why they check the folder. When they do not download a folder.

Everyone else goes in the folder and checks the date of the file.

But then again, people keep on saying it is not updated. After not bothering to download the file.

Let me try to explain my situation.

([Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]). I downloaded an archived folder, but I see that the files in it are dated today (probably because I just unarchived it). It seems to me that all files and folders update their date after creating the archive from downloader.ru for further download. If I go into list.txt, I can see several import strings, specifying that it is August 2024. More info that it is an updated file, for example, this month, I don’t know where to look, maybe I did something wrong?

So you want 1 file from the folder.

Instead you download the whole file instead?
As the list shows, what the update is and when it was made. Also with the latest import string that people claim is not updated. But then again, they never downloaded the list to find out.

i did download the file and i did everything to extract it and put it into the right folder in the addons folder and it says in the about in Zygor the previous build number 9.5.2371 not 9.5.2379 .. what is the list i may ask ?

Thank you for your response. The problem is that I only just noticed that you can double-click to enter the folder (because the first click selects the folder and activates the download button, and logically, I and others who asked you similar questions did not try to enter the folder itself). I just saw that you can enter the folder directly on the site =D, this solves all the issues.

I think I found the problem: people who rarely use download.ru don’t know that the issue is with this. The download.ru interface works in such a way that when you hover over a folder, it immediately changes the animation to a folder selection icon “✔” and not everyone double-clicks on this “✔” because the download archive button on the right becomes active immediately.

If I go to a link that is a folder, I download the file I need.
But people want to download all, then wonder the file size

yes, and after this they got a lot of dumb questions like me =D

In my opinion, to avoid similar questions in the future, you could add to your main post under the spoiler “UI’s” something like:
"Link to Main Directory For UI's link
Note: You can enter any folder by double-clicking to check the freshness of the files and download them without needing to download full the entire folder archive to verify this."

P.S. I think this will help to avoid same situations
